COMPENSATION

$55,000 to $65,000 annually, depending on experience

Role begins as a three-month contract, transition to full-time dependent on review

Requirements

  • Minimum two years of experience working in any of the following areas: government, electoral campaigns, political advocacy, think tanks, or corporate government affairs
  • Excellent writing skills and, preferably, previous professional experience specialized in long-form writing or editing
  • Experience conducting in-depth research with creativity and rigor, and translating that research into a compelling narrative
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce polished work
  • Demonstrated interest in the history and future of political movements, and the implications for day-to-day politics, policy, business, and culture
  • Understanding of the nuances of different ideological groups and opinion leaders
  • Familiarity with conservative thought leadership
  • Ability to channel a position without advocating for it
  • Entrepreneurial and creative mindset

Responsibilities

  • Conducting research and analysis on political and business topics
  • Writing and editing reports and memoranda
  • Completing detailed research assignments and drafting findings
